New years greetings! I wish you peace, love and happiness in 2008! May all your dreams come true!
I love new beginnings! I don’t make resolutions since they usually get “broken” before the first quarter of the year is over. I make “goals” instead. Maybe it’s just a matter of semantics, but find it easier to strive for goals.
This year one of my goals is to create one layout a day. I have a little asterisk* on that. *If it is impossible to do a layout that day, I will at least do something scrappy. So far so good!
Here’s a little Valentine Card I created for a challenge at My Scrapbook Nook. I was lucky enough to be chosen as a top 20 finalist for a DT position. The try out period is from the 1st to the 15th. I think I got the email by mistake, but I’m going to take advantage of the situation and enjoy the journey while it lasts!
I hope you will check the site out. It’s really hopping and the kits are spectacular. The DT and the members are super talented. You’ll find a lot of inspiration there!
Until next time:
a hui hou!
BTW if anyone recognizes the vintage valentine paper here, could you please let me know who makes it... I cut it up and used it too soon, so don’t have that information. Thanks!
Supplies: cardstock base, PP-Rusty Pickle and ?, bling-Me and my Big Ideas, lace, ribbon, antique button, metal shaped clip, odds and ends
